Parent Association
The Academy’s parent association (along with our staff team of moderators!) is your go-to for all things community! We always appreciate your help sponsoring, organizing and staffing special events and SEA traditions. We also provide occasional financial support for special student programs throughout the year.
We are so thankful for our volunteers and their families for making our year so successful. We look forward to many of the same events again in 2023-2024.

What’s New?
Thank you to everyone who attended our first meeting on September 12th. As discussed, there are many different ways for SEA families to support the Parents’ Association. Please take a quick look here to find the right match for your family. We can’t thank you enough for lending us a hand!
Lancer Closet Donations
The SEA Parents’ Association runs the Lancer Closet ‘Resale Room’ all year long so families can stock up on gently-used uniform pieces. Proceeds go towards our events.
Thank you for all of your recent clothing donations. Please Note- We can only accept school blazers and ties donations at this time as the room has reached its storage capacity. During this temporary pause- we are busy carefully sorting through your recently donated merchandise to be sure we only sell the best quality, approved-uniform pieces.
Resale Room Volunteers Needed
Thank you for offering to help sort through donation bags, fold, discard non-uniform items, and clean up the Lancer Closet. You may volunteer at a time and day that is best for you. Please review the available shifts here and click on the button to sign up. Any questions please contact us.
Lunchroom Volunteers Needed
Lunch Duty volunteers are so important! Our teachers and kitchen crew sincerely appreciate your time. All families & Grandparents are encouraged to volunteer for lunch duty as their schedule allows. Hours are typically from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM. The boys love to see your smiling faces! Please sign up here or message Diane. We ask all school volunteers to please fill out this easy background clearance before volunteering.
Fall Festival Planning Committee
Our Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 21st. We would love a team to work with us on making this a continued success. Please join us for our next Fall Festival planning meeting on Friday, September 29th at 1:30 PM in the Art Room. Please register here.
Vendors Needed
Have a craft or a business you would like to sell or showcase at our Fall Festival? Join us as a vendor. Contact us to save your spot and to get more details. We love to showcase our SEA family and friends!
Chaperoning
Relatives who wish to chaperone a field trip or volunteer at SEA events (other than in our café) must have completed our background clearance process before being eligible to do so. Please click here to complete the process online. Parents who intend to chaperone an overnight field trip will be required to complete the fingerprinting process. Questions may be directed to Karen Smith by email.
