1st Annual Middle School Boot Camp
August 14-18th 2017 9am-12pm @ St. Edmond’s Academy 
For incoming 6th-8th grade students- Co-Ed 
Price- $150

Students will switch between each 80 minute class. Features of each class include:

Lancer English - Taught By Joe O’Brien - English Teacher at Salesianum School. 2nd year masters student at Villanova University. 
Topics to be covered:
-Reading Comprehension
-Listening Skills
-Notetaking 
-Grammar 
-Writing 5 Paragraph Essays
-Last 5 Chapters of St. Ed’s summer reading book The Boy who Harnessed the Wind. This is one of the summer reading options for St. Edmond’s students entering 6th-8th grade. (Students are required to have read the entire book by the beginning of class and bring the paper copy book with them to class)

Becoming an Independent Learner - Laying a firm foundation for success in high school
Christine Hrinak- Educational Support at Salesianum Teacher. Master’s degree from Illinois University
